Reverend Larry J. Gaither, Jr. is the Pastor and spiritual leader at Friendship Baptist Church, Hopkins, South Carolina. He was appointed and anointed the pastor of this faithful congregation in October 2005.

Reverend Larry was born and reared in Winnsboro, South Carolina. He is the son of Cheryll Belton and the late Larry J. Gaither, Sr. Reverend Gaither is the father of four (4) lovely children. He resides with his family in Winnsboro, South Carolina. He was licensed and ordained into the Gospel Ministry at Lincolnville Baptist Church, Chester, South Carolina under the astute leadership of Reverend James A. Owens, Jr.

Reverend Gaither formal education began in the public school system of Fairfield County.  He then served his country four (4) years in the United States Air Force. During his time of service he furthered his education at Excelsior College in Albany, New York where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information. He also holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from the University of New York, Albany, New York.

Reverend Gaither obligations to God are embedded in his heart and are rooted in his spirit. He is obligated to religiously educating the flock that is appointed to him.  He is dedicated to cultivating Christian love and understanding. He is devoted to teaching that Jehovah is and should be the first priority in our lives.  Reverend Gaither understands that obedience is a great attribute one must possess in order to be used as an instrument used to carry out Gods will.  Therefore as a faithful servant, he will perform the will of God whole-heartedly without delay.
